Dr. Scott Miller

Lost Fatherhood: The Impact of Abortion on Men

Dr. Miller with deliver a presentation in our main session and provide a deeper look at supporting men in a breakout session.

Dr. Scott Miller has a Doctor of Ministry degree on the subject of healing fathers of aborted children and has worked as an addictions recovery chaplain for decades. As such he has extensive knowledge both academic and anecdotal of the impact of abortion on men. He has observed and studied the link between an unresolved abortion experience in a father and a continuing battle with addictions. He has seen the power of the addiction weakened when a father addresses the abortion experience in his life. Dr. Miller developed a leading model designed to alleviate distress associated with an abortion experience.

Justina Van Manen

Infertility and the Value of Life: A Pro-Life Response to IVF:
Infertility is a painful reality faced by many couples. Held as the gold standard of artificial reproductive technologies, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) has been promoted as a safe and effective way to achieve pregnancy. However, effective does not always mean ethical. This presentation works through the difficult questions that surround IVF and what our response should be as pro-lifers both to the use of this technology and to the millions of pre-born children that remain frozen as a result.

Justina Van Manen has been involved in the pro-life movement for over a decade. She graduated for Redeemer University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2017 and completed a Bachelor of Education in 2020. She is the Author of Stuck: A Complete Guide to Answering tough questions about abortion and the recently published A Pro-Life Guide to Birth Control. She co-authored Life Under Glass: The Ethics of Embryo Adoption with Jonathon Van Maren. She lives in Ontario with her husband and sons.

Alissa Golob

The Inside Scoop - Going Undercover in Canada’s Late-Term Abortion Clinics:
Alissa has stepped into places most of us never could — all to expose the truth and advocate for vulnerable children. She will be sharing her story of going undercover in four late-term abortion clinics in Canada. This is an exclusive talk where she will give the whole story, answer questions, and offer insight on how we can respond with truth in a culture of death.

Alissa Golob is the co-founder of Right Now, a pro-life political organization that works to get pro-life candidates nominated and elected so that we can start passing pro-life legislation in Canada. In 2023, Alissa went undercover in four late-term abortion clinics to expose the truth of late-term abortions in Canada.

Alissa is a wife and momma to four children and resides with her family in Calgary.

Krystal Vanderbrugghen

Called to Protect: Faith Driven Advocacy for Your Loved One in a Changing Healthcare System
Krystal draws from her own experiences to encourage and empower families navigating the complexities of modern healthcare. Families today face a healthcare system that is rapidly changing, one in which they are often asked to make quick decisions, sign consent forms without full explanation, and trust policies that may be unclear. Krystal speaks to the pivotal moments when uncertainty rises, when instincts matter, and when courage becomes essential. Through practical guidance and compassionate insight, she helps attendees ask meaningful questions, recognize potential concerns, and advocate with confidence. Participants will leave feeling uplifted, supported, and better equipped to approach medical decisions with clarity, resilience, and hope.

Krystal Vanderbrugghen is a devoted mother of four and advocate whose journey was profoundly shaped by loving and fighting for her daughter, Veya Hope.  Through her personal experiences navigating the Canadian healthcare system, Krystal discovered the importance of standing boldly for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

Passionate about equipping families with knowledge, discernment, and courage, she helps parents and loved ones understand the decisions they are being asked to make, recognize red flags, and protect the dignity of life and those in their care.  Rooted in faith, personal experience and compassion, Krystal hopes that it can empower families to navigate complex systems with clarity, confidence and a steadfast heart.
